Snooker Tips:
1) screw shot
When playing a screw shot, lower your bridge so that your palm is flat on the table, drop your back hand so you are cueing straight through the ball, and aim to push 3 or 4 inches past the white ball after contact- depending on how much screw you want.

2) Follow
Please try and hit the ball at the top, it can be done by raising your cue-stick and depends on how far you want it to travel.

3) Drag shot
When wanting to pot a long shot and keep the white ball down the object ball end- hit the white as though you are playing a screw shot with the aim being that the white just finishes spinning backwards and begins forward rotation, when contact with the object ball is made. Perfect for a long shot at a red to position for the black.

4) Pause
The PAUSE at the end of the cueing is very much important and at that time your eyes should be on the target ball with the line of aim. i have improved my game at least 30 to 40 % only due to this practice...although it will be hard practising in begining but it will be worth at the end of the day..

5) Easier potting
For long pots, with quite a large angle, using slight sidespin directed at the side of the pocket will help the ball on its way.

6) long pots
Never use sidespin on long pots because the chances of the desired ball going in will fall.

8) side
don't use the side pot unless your cue's ball hits the cushion or other balls because the way it travel are the same as you do for a normal pot.
