1) remove bleach smell from hands

Pour some lemon juice over yours hands, massage in and wash off, it will remove the smell of bleach from your hands almost instantly.

2) Cleaning around taps.

Buy a cheap battery operated toothbrush and use it to clean taps, does a much better job then a cloth or a sponge. (Can also use it on window edges and between tiles.
